CHT R. Beitlich GmbH – An innovative system provider
CHT R. Beitlich GmbH in Tübingen is the headquarters of the worldwide operation CHT/BEZEMA Group of Companies for special chemicals. Our products improve the quality, the functionality and performance of textiles, building chemicals, paper and pet food as well as cleaning and care agents for the consumer goods industry.
With competent advice, intelligent system solutions and products as well as an outstanding customer-oriented service the CHT/BEZEMA Group supports industrial companies in their fibre manufacturing, dyeing processes, as well as textile printing, finishing and coating. The vast textile competence of the CHT/BEZEMA Group is also applied in garment finishing and textile care. The product range of the Group of Companies is completed by textile dyes which are finished and sold worldwide by the Swiss company BEZEMA using their company name as a brand name.
Moreover, the chemical products and the know-how for the application technique of the CHT/BEZEMA Group are used for the paper and leather industry, for pet food, for building materials as well as for cleaning and care agents.
In 1953, Reinhold Beitlich laid the foundation stone in Tübingen for the CHT/BEZEMA Group of Companies. In the 1980s he founded the Beitlich Familienstiftung (Beitlich Family Foundation) securing thus the continuity and independency of the company for the long term.
Today, CHT/BEZEMA is represented by more than 20 company-own affiliates all over the world and with more than 1,600 staff members the Group achieved a turnover of more than 300 million Euros in 2010.
Within the CHT/BEZEMA Group of Companies the headquarters in Tübingen is still of major importance. Tübingen is the centre of excellence where innovative ideas are developed and implemented into chemical products, applications and processes. There are production sites in Oyten near Bremen and Geretsried near Munich (Alpina) primarily specialising in silicone chemistry. About 46,000 tonnes of special chemicals are produced every year at the central European production site in Dußlingen near Tübingen in modern, highly efficient ranges. Dußlingen also centrally controls the complete logistics for domestic sales and exports. CHT has an export quota of about 80 % delivering into approx. 120 countries worldwide.
